Here is some HAAS info, I hope this team can catch a break and stay in F1.

So George isn't really that far off the fastest time during testing thus far, and that's still with a struggling car.

Again I would take all these numbers with a grain of salt, I doubt any team has fully correlated their cars yet and are actually pushing for times. They are probably all still learning their cars.
I just saw this too but it said he was on the C5 tire.

Its fixed through aero and suspension setup. Its really not the big deal everyone is making it out to be, and was an issue with ground effect cars in the 70s. If you can fix it with 70s technology, I'm sure they can fix it now.

This is one aspect that cannot be tested for in CFD and the wind tunnel

Sure they can. But then the FIA has to change the suspension regulations first ...

It should be over!!! Daddy and Putin are too close.

Mazepin’s father Dmitry is an oligarch with close links to Putin and attended a one-to-one meeting with the president on the same day he launched a violent assault on Ukraine.

No need to make any changes, they outlawed the inerter and hydraulic actuated heave springs. You can fix it with stiffer roll springs, stiffer or progressive rate heave springs. Sure an inerter or mass damper would help as well but it's not the only solution. It can also be fixed aerodynamically.

If you watch the wrap up video I posted yesterday and actual F1 engineer walks you through solutions, it's perfectly possible to resolve with the current suspensions.

Yup, and I'm thinking progressive springs are the way to go so you don't lose any compliance for low speed situations while having it super stiff for high speed high down force situations.

That's looks like the best solution on paper. Does not effect on roll stiffness and still allows you to get the maximum downforce. It's also possible to tune that heave with the compression on the heave damper. It would be a shame to bleed off some downforce to stop it.

Some of the cars looked a bit better through the chicane late in the day today. Sure the cars will be more refined at the next test.

Well another 2 weeks of waiting till we see more F1 action.

I suspect the cars to look alot different the next time we see them, because the teams have alot to fix in order to obtain stability under load. Also I'm sure teams like Alfa and Haas have some reliability issues to work out, and everyone else after fixing porpoising will likely try to recoup some low speed performance.

Whoever was faster at Barcelona is meaningless at this early stage, even Alfa could have stuck on softs, had a few litres of fuel then turned up the boost and got the prize lap.
Warmer Bahrain will be a different set of dishes.

Alfa has finally officially launched their car,the C42 not bad looking in red and white with the wheels painted so they look like alloys lol So that makes all of the '22 runners set to go.
