How good is car shopping?

I put a deposit down on an M3 a few months ago, still waiting until January delivery.

I am smitten on the M3 but I realised today that half the fun in cars is shopping around, there are so many cars coming in 2008....M3, C63, STi, Evo, IS-F, GT-R, the LS2 in Oz.....I am half tempted to cancel my order because it feels it will be a disapointment to go back to window shopping....Its nice reading performance car magazines and reading the forums with intent

I am not that different to a woman looking at shoes I suppose

you can always get your money back. just leave the deposit there just in case you end up buying the M3 then you don't have to wait another couple months.
