I would love to see the installation manual for this prior to buying - just to know what all is involved.
Any chance of that?

Lmao tbh i dont think they are even following this thread. I think they come on once a month and give an update hahaha
Thats okay though keep em focused on the sc... And i +1 on seeing the installation guide prior to buying, to see if it is do-able in a home garage |

Thing i am worried about most is our belt tensioner. Theyre known to fail. Pretty sure mine is on its way out. I would like to see an improved tensioner come with the kit

I have a built Lingenfelter 427 LS engine in my TransAm - due to the hi HP it would have a tendency to throw belts (the 8-rib serpentine style) using the spring tensioner.
Fix was to remove the factory spring style tensioner & replace with aftermarket 'old school' manually adjustable tensioner with a pulley that had deeper grooves & high side walls. Same basic design, but you use a torque wrench when pulling back (camming) on the tensioner to achieve the proper belt preload - then tighten down the locking bolt. The new pulley was also billet aluminum instead of steel & had replaceable hi quality bearing (OEM pulley bearing was not replaceable - had to buy entire pulley) Don't see why something like this wouldn't also work on BMW if there was such a thing available... When adding SC to that engine the Vortech system included a larger 10-rib serpentine belt, & all the appropriate pulleys to alleviate belt slipping - Wondering if this BMW SC setup upgrades to wider belt

Cant have 2 pulleys and 1 belt, even if you saw the video of the girls and the cup... you need a 3rd pulley as a tensioner

Any ideas what additional cooling would be needed?
I'd also like to know if it will cause problems with the 330i intake manifold, I feel like forced air would screw with the flap in there. Any ideas?
