Swiss Army Divemaster is my daily driver, on special occasions I wear a 1969 Rolex GMT that used to be my father's.

Pic is an internet grab- don't have the watch at work with me.

Many years ago my wife purchased for me on our first wedding anniversary a Rolex Tudor watch costing some $360- at the time (I remember our first argument at that time for getting me such an expensive gift). My first house at that time cost $18,000- and a Benz SL 450 I remember cost just over $8,000- at that time (I test drove it on the Trans Canada Highway - wondering at that time if I ever will be able to afford one). My first house sold a few years ago for around $485,000- (so I am told by my former neighbours).

Last year I was in Vegas and my Rolex Tudor was apprized at $18,200-

My Rolex Tudor is a Day / Date blue face in need for a new crystal, It must be the 4th or 5th crystal on this watch for I wear it every day. My other watch is a CITIZEN I wear it when I bicycle (just in case I will crash )

Here is a photo I let you guess how old the Rolex Tudor is
Nice! What a special memory for your first anniversary.

Very nice! I don't know all the names but based on the watches magazines my husband has lying around, I can tell you have some 'exotic'-level watches! I really like Blancpains...

As for me, I have the Rolex Sub, Omega SMP, PAM001, B&R 93, and a couple of F1 Oris's. Looking into getting a IWC Portuguese Chrono maybe next year.
Hmmm..... IWC Portuguese Chrono! I love that watch.

You have the same taste as my husband. That was his first 'nice' watch, he couldn't sleep all night after getting it. He's an Omega fan.

And here's mine, I love it! I picked it out myself after searching for a couple of years... I very much appreciate fine automatic movements, although I am not as big an enthusiastic as my husband, so I don't really have any desire for more than one EDIT: dress watch. I also have an Omega Seamaster Aquaterra for sports, casual wear. /EDIT

I collect PAMs [before they got trendy as I was into the Historia]. I dive w/ an Omega PO; or a Seiko Diver's. And I have some funky old watches that are crap that I love because they're NOT expensive but mean something to me.

Watches should not be merely bling / $$$. That's facile.

And my 'better 1/2' [spouse] said, emphatically, "No more watches if you want your 911 CS2". Fair enough: She's German and very logical

ps IWC for work in a suit.

Wonderful watch [GMT]: my bro' has the same one - well, a '68 or '69, but virtually identical and been serviced immaculately its whole 'life'. It's his watch 'dd'.

Nice winder Spencer!!! That alone is $$$

Watches are better investments than M3's or mods.

Thanks.

My thoughts exactly. But modding your car is fun too

Breitling Chronomat stainless and 18kt is what I'm wearing today (bought this watch around 1989 I believe). Definitely my favorite. Also have a Breitling Emergency. Both have been an awesome watches.
