Guys,

Am I selling these ultra staggered master piece too expensive or cheap?

They are not even opened in the box, available in matt black or gunmetal....

Will take any reasonable offer!

What's the offset again?

I think the fitment is a bit flush for nonM E9Xs..

It's definitely possible for these to work though and the concave looks fantastic.

Btw have you already purchased 135s?

ok the noob is back.

now i have the stock 225 series wheels on an 09 335 coupe(I think that is the number, same as andrew is trying to flog) i think the dimensions are 19 * 8.5 and 9. so these being 9.5 and 10, what sort of rubber would you put in them. i do have a preference for rft as no spare and i dont like getting caught out with a flat.

Also (and remember i am a noob) assuming much wider rubber what effect will this have on the handling/wheel alignment

Front tyres, you'd probably want a 225/35/19

Rear tyres, most likely a 265/30/19 but could go +/- 10mm on the width.

I'd still recommend you not to bother with RFT but up to you.

Handling wise, you'll definitely have increased grip on the rear with the wider rubber (something that the 335 is lacking) and alignment wise it won't affect it at all, you can get an alignment done afterwards if you like.

Yep already got the 135i.

Yeh I meant the offset, are the fronts +25 or +33 or something?

And the rears + 25 or +40?

Really??? but these rims are an inch wider. I expected you to say 255's on the front and 285 or something on the rear... Than my next question would be would that fit...

The rims will take RFTs, but if you get a flat you can't drive on them as they don't have the proper lip to keep the flat tyre on the rim.

nope 255/285 won't fit - you have to run a little bit of what's called 'stretch'
It'll still be fine, there's quite a reasonable range that tyes can fit on... eg 9.5inch will comfortably take anything from 225/235-275/285 maybe

2. vb3 19x9.5 et33 19x10 et 38

235/35/19 front 265/30/19 or 275/30/19 rear.

These sizes will work perfectly fine at stock height. No rubbing issues will occur. These will sit flush on all 4 corners.

-Charles@VMRWheels

Above is confirmation from VMR guys

Get a mobility kit which includes goo that you put into the tyre, then pump it up and drive to a repair place. Also you can carry the old school plugs if on a long journey.

About the only time your screwed without run flats is when you damage the side wall of a tyre i.e. gutter hit. If that happens then BMW Assist is your friend.

If your tooling around in a 330/325/320 then you can get a space saver spare that fits. Unfortunately the 335's calipers are too big and the same spare does not fit.

Cheers, I was looking on the main site earlier and saw the vb3's in hyper black on the same colour coupe as mine and I think i am sold, just need to decide on size.

I was thinking on 19 * 8.5 with a 235 up front and 19 * 10 with a 275 on the back if they will fit. Non RFT's (and a can of magic in the boot).

Any suggestions on the tyres chaps

for 19x10 you can go either 265 or 275 depending on the availability.

I am currently running on Kumho, sourced locally, and am pretty satisfied with the ride

Why dont get 19x9.5 front just to get more concave looking for the bargain price!!

Tire Rack in the USA if your after premium tyres @ lower prices than you can get in Aus. Even after shipping you'll save heaps.
