Thanks for the comments everyone... I had to post something nice of mine, specially since I saw the "Cribs" topic.

its awesome to go work out at my uncs apartment, and then go order a salad from the Paradise Bar and grill, and relax on the boat...

However, the fuckin bed should be used for ANYTHING else but sleeping, rock fuckin hard.... The water heater tank and waste holding tanks are under both beds since both bedrooms have a shower and bathroom....

The little coffe table by the TV has been beatin the fuck up with people dancing on it....

If you look at the shot of the outdoor bar area, imagine a line coming down the dock, into the gated area, down the aluminum decend, into the boat, with disco balls runnin, it was sick.... However the boats like 4 years old so it was before my time, but it doesnt matter becayse I am not a party animal.... Just a asshole. lol

The best is when we go out to northport, LI.

We mour (sp) up at 40$ a hour and get on foot in a very exclusive little town. its home to my FAVROITE bistro.

There is a resteraunt called the BAY VIEW BISTRO.

I always get 2 entrees and a apitizer.

Kobe beef burger cooked med. Chicken wrap and maybe a salad or something (yes i do eat my salad after my dinner or lunch)

Desert is outa controll... Everyday that have the Cheescake of the day.

I get around, and the coconut and lime cheesecake is the best I have ever had.

but bring your check book - the day is easily over 2g's.

To keep the boat just in the slip is 20 g's a year. OUUUUCHHH!!! Can anyone help me out ova here!!?? lol

The 2nd best part about our slip (1st being the best slip in the marina) is that the guys right behind us who have a similar boat, own many italian resteraunts, and their pizza is SICK!

Just kidding...or maybe not

Well..in anycase, nice boat...I am definitely feeling it. I would love to have one, but I do not know anything about boat maintanence/upkeep. Best thing for me...I need a best friend to get one, then I can borrow it...hahaha. Got a couple of friends that are interested in getting one within the next year or two...I just keep lobbying for one!

Wow! Really nice boat. That looks almost exactly like my cousin's Carver 396 (I think it's a 2002). What's powering it? His has twin Mercruiser 454's. The thing is big, but moves right along. It's a great party boat. Did you get the wet bar option on the bridge, and the fridge on the flying bridge options? I thought that was really cool to not only have the full bar setup, but a fridge as well up above.

I am pretty sure it was over 360k (ours) however I didnt come into it as a partner till now (i am 17).

Origonally it was my Uncle Jim and uncle mike, and my unc jim is an asshole, so now I took over. (LOOONG FAMILY DRAMA STORIES!!!!) Puts the sopranos to shame, ne ways.....

We did get the wet bar and fridge upgrade, but I know we DID NOT opt for the deisel engines, now we regrett it, but at the time it was another 50 large.....

Before gas (which is outa control) and maintanance, food, beverages, and other very basic materials, its 20 g's a year (even after the boat is paid for, if you pay in cash) just to keep it in our slip. Which includes, water, cable, power, the actual slip and a few recreational facilites.

my advice is take 400 g's and invest it instead of blow it on a boat like this....

The first 2 years are awesome, specially the first year, and then forgetaboutit.... Its a pain and costly if you life isnt ruled by boating every weekend....

Also, here are some associated costs:

2 thousand for full winterization.

1 thousand for a thorough wax and polish, not the bottom half of boat.

5-600 for a diver to clean the bottom every few months....

Plus parts.

You have to be fully dedicated, and educated about YOUR boat.

A new business adventure will soon become a realality, that specificaly deals with yacht sales, however I cant discuss the particulars, so who knows, maybe I can make a few extra off this new venture.
