Transmission Input Shaft Wiggle?

Has anyone else here grabbed the input to their manual transmission shaft and found it to wiggle? I have a used transmission on the floor here and it seems to wiggle like my old one sitting next to it, but I'm not sure what amount is acceptable. I'm also not able to find any information on these transmissions. Anyone else have similar experience?

Mine also wiggled was told it was normal for some play
