Shout out for CPS

Wednesday I sent my 5D MkII to Canon Professional Services on Wednesday for a Check & Clean and received it back today (Friday). I'm a Gold member with CPS and really suggest it for anyone with a significant investment in Canon gear.

The neckstrap they send you makes a great sling when paired with the OP/Tech sling adapter. I'll probably wait a bit longer before ending my 7D in. Shame the C&C is only good for a year.

I like it by itself as a neck strap. I generally carry a camera with my 70-200mm around my neck as I carry my 500mm on the other body in my right hand. It's a very comfortable strap.

What do you do with the 500mm/body combo when you need to use the 70-200?

I usually put the 500mm on the ground or shoot the 70-200mm with one hand. (I carry it around zoomed out to 200mm to cover most situations).

Dave's a beast... I'm complaining about holding the 1D X body, while he's palming the 500mm in one hand.

All that weight lifting in high school (which I hated) is paying off.
