I'd gp with Q7...just not quite sure about the reliability of Audis.
It is about $5k cheaper than the X5 equally equipped.
Looks better than the X5 in and out IMO

I love the new Cayenne.
Also look at new X5.
Ranger Rover Sport maybe.

That's about all.

I would look for one in this list:

- Mercedes ML
- Audi Q7
- Mazda CX-7
- Mazda CX-9
- Range Rover Sport
- Infiniti FX45
- Volvo XC90
- Land Rover LR2

In my opinion anything else is not just worth it. Including the BMW ones
which personally I don't like at all. In the above list you have a variety
of prices/styles/sizes to pick from and get it right based on what you are
looking for.

If I had a family, I'd pick the XC90. The third row seats are well thought out.

The Land Rover LR3 has a very nice brute look...but I would be concerned with the reliability.

If it was just for myself...I'd go with either the Q7 or X5. Range Rover Sport would again be a distant third (again because of reliability).

My old man just got the new Lexus RX 350. Nice car actually...but not something I'd buy. Too comfortable/ordinary for me. But reliable as heck. He drives a lot...and has already 30,000 kms in less than 7 months...no problems at all.

I get around 27mpg on normal freeway driving...local around 18.
If I get on it...I get between...10~14mpg.
Nice vehicle, just dealership service...hell so does BMW...

The FX was nice when it came out. But now it's fairly old and everyone has one. Plus it's really hard to read the dials when it's sunny outside.
