First test at Hockenheim for the Team Schirmer 2010 CSL Cup car

Hi Folks

Not been on here for a while, looking back it was when I last had my e92 320d M Sport However, I sold that, bought a 1 series, was hit head on, survived, and bought an X6!!

I thought you might be interested in this - my M3 CSL racecar. I went to Hockenheim on Monday for the first testday with the new racecar. It's not the fastest of laps as its my first time driving a sequential gearbox, and its left hand drive, but I had great fun regardless.

Needless to say the car is incredible and I'm extremely happy with it. Schirmer Race Engineering have created a monster!

The video is here

That's fantastic, I'd love to have a cup car. But why does the front bumper look like one from a non-CSL?

Stock M3 bumper has better openings for brake ducting... and the SERIES is called CSL Cup. It allows both E46 M3 CSL's and E46 M3's to compete.

Great video, but all it did was make me want to put $60-100k into a sequential gearbox lol

Gotcha

Thanks for the clarification, as I'm not very familiar with the series.

Steve!! Good to see you back on here again. Tom's done an amazing job with the car! Too bad I didn't see you in April... back at the 'Ring May 21-24 if you're going to be there.
