The Masters
Alright, I can't be the only golf nut on 1Addicts.com... How about a prediction, plus a dark horse, of who will win The Masters?
Prediction: Mr. Woods Dark Horse: A. Cabrera |

Been a few times with folks who have badges - heard some horror stories about vendors/ticket brokers...

Good pick on Ogilvy - he seems to be gaining confidence and would love nothing more than to get the 0-fer Master's Monkey off his country's back...

Even now being 9 back midway through his second round I still wouldnt count him out, he could easily drop a 64 or lower, especially if he plays early tomorrow and the conditions were like they were early today.

I agree - he's not out of it by any stretch. He is posted for a 1:10 tee time, but with the weather that moved through my area yesterday (and usually passes through Augusta the next day), they may be moving the tee times up for the field, making it even more to his advantage.
I look for a 68 from him today and for Snedeker and/or Immelman to wake up today looking for the Pepto-Bismol, i.e., he'll be within three shots of the lead by the end of the third round... |

Thanks - I do, too. Another 68 and he'll be at 9-under. Although the winning score could be 7-under. Tiger has the extra advantage (!) of playing with our hometown hero, Stewart Cink, (born here in Huntsville, now playing out of Duluth, GA) someone with whom he plays very well.
And, in spite of incredible play from Snedeker and Immelman, I'll be shocked to see them repeat such today - Johnson had the advantage last year of posting a number in relative obscurity - those two will be well aware that all eyes are upon them and of their status as the last group... Tiger by one. |
