Unfreaking Believable

This local attorney just purchased a brand new 08' BMW Cabrio, black on black...he was excited to bring it down to the law firm and show it off to his partners in the firm...he pulled up in front of their beautiful brownstone office and as he opened up the door to get out a Cheverolet Suburban drove by and tore the door right off the car!

A good friend of mine is a police officer in our town and saw the entire thing happen...he pulled up right behind the new BMW with his emergency lights on and got out to see if everyone was OK...the attorney jumped out of the car and was yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs about his new car and how it would never be repaired correctly. My friend went up and tried to calm him down but he just kept yelling.

My friend knew he was an attorney and just yelled back at him about how all you attornies are the same, all you care about are the material things in life. The attorney looked at my buddy and said, "how can you say that....look at my car, it's destroyed, this thing will never be the same again!"

My friend said to the attorney, "Look, in all this comotion you haven't even noticed, but your arm was ripped off of your body!' The attorney looked very faint, my friend said he was going into shock and the attorney yelled, "Oh my God...my Rolex!"

I first heard this (actually a similar version about a yuppie instead of a lawyer) some 20+ years ago.

Yeah, we can adapt good old jokes to the present, and mixing a bit of BMW with it. I'm next:

"This farmer is with his sheep, and see this classy guy showing up in his brand new black BMW 335i sedan to the farm. The guys opens the door, and exits flashing his Armani suit, IBM Laptop, Blackberry with built in GPS, etc, and tells the farmer:

- If I tell you how many sheep you have, would give me one?
- Yeah, why not - said the farmer, who was drooling at the abundance of technology and toys.

The BMW guy starts making all kind of calculations using his complex Excel formulas, and linking the GPS data, and finally, after some 30 minutes, says

- You have 1,338 sheep.
- Oh, well, if you say so; take one of sheep.

The BMW guy takes one of the animals close by, walks to his car, but the farmer stops him, and asks:

- If I tell you who you are, would you give me my animal back?
- Ok, let's try
- You're a BearingPoint consultant
- Well, yes .... but how did you know??? - responds the BMW guy in disbelief.

The farmer responds:

- It's easy. First, you show up when nobody called you; secondly, you waste a hugh amount of your technology and my time to tell me what I already knew; and lastly, you don't have a clue about my business, because you're taking my dog and not my sheep.
