Wheel fitment on my lci xdrive e90

I was thinking getting 18x8.5 +35 wheels on 255/40/r18 tires on a squared setup all around. I feel like the rear wheels would sit behind the wheel arch because I had 17x8.5s in the rear with 17x8s in the front before, but I’m worried that the new 18 inch wheels would poke out the front wheel arch since they aren’t smaller and the are same all around instead of smaller ones up front(18x8.5s on all of four wheels instead of 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear). Does anybody know if the front wheels would poke out the front wheel arch on the wheels and tires I’m getting? My car is an lci e90 and xdrive, it’s also on stock suspension with no fenders rolled as of right now. I want to try to achieve a flush fitment and I don’t want the wheel to poke out the wheel arch.

The wheel size has been done lots and is a great choice. Square is the way to go. But it's usually done with 255/*35*r18. The 255/40r18s are quite a bit taller and you may find it rubs in sharp turns and big bumps. The width will be great though.
Your homework is to search the wheels and tires forum, and read this:

So the front wheel wouldn’t poke out that much right? That’s my main concern for now because I don’t have coilovers rn and it would be annoying if they poked out a lot.

They'll be basically flush with the top of the fender opening. Where the fenders retract in down lower, the tire will be exposed.

It's not anything I would call 'poke'.

It seems great. Are those 17 inch wheels or 18? I don’t think it would make a difference for thickness would it?
