+1. BMW's are exactly as BMW335icDDS said, they are a "compromise of luxury and racing" which makes them the ultimate driving machines (also porsches are like that). Some cars are purely made for racing just like the GT-R and therefore it has no luxury features and therefore would not be good for every day driving, which is why most people would rather get an M3. In addition, there are cars that are made purely for the luxurious reasons and comfort such as Mercs (even though they have AMG's but those have absolutely no taste of racing to them, they are just about the straight aways with their big and loud gas guzzling engines). For me, i'd like to make enough money to get a sports car to use purely for racing and tracking purposes such as the GT-R, and a car such as a BMW E92 335xi that could be an every day car which u could use to race other people on your way to work.

If it does 3.3s is true , it is faster than the double priced CLK DTM.

The GTR is marketed as an everyday car...not just a track car like a lotus elise....

You are wrong when you say the GT-R is just a race car. It is not. If you read the edmunds article, it states the GTR is as comfortable as the 911 Turbo. We have a Carrera S in our family (i posted photos of it) and trust me, its a great car but it isn't that comfortable. The GT-R is the same. The GT-R, face it, is just the better car for the money. Only if you care about the badge would you get the M3.

We witness every generation of GT-R in Asia in past 15+ years. Yes, they race hard in the nite but they take the mom and dad to picnic on Sunday too. One thing certain, GT-R is always for the mod freaks.
