bring beef jerky and red bull, especially if you're going alone.
I drove for 12 hours without stopping for anything but food and piss, twice (once each way, lol.) It's an experience. |

Also about the Dallas game, if you are taking your 335, are you serious that you don't have sirius sat radio!?!? If you don't then sucks for you.

I loved my blackberry for sports updates. You would just put your fav team in and it did everything else for u. I now have the iphone as well, the only way i get updates is to go on espn.com, pick your team, and keep hitting refresh.

Uh, if you have an iphone then go to yahoo sports.
Also you can hack your phone to get it to have apps like sports.

I did a 9 hour ( I think..Boca--> Tallahassee) straight with no bathroom breaks after working at the state senate from 7-6, wasnt a bad drive, kinda enjoy them at night, very peaceful and soothing.

24 hour drive from Ft. Meyers, FL to Middlebury, VT for a sick NYE party, long ago.
17 hours from Richmond, VA to Nantucket (including ferry), 2 hour stop for dinner. 15 hour drive from VA to Key West, Spring Break. Many, many overnight drives from CT to VA, home to college. No traffic at night. Bring some cigars, rotate drivers. Keep everyone sober, less stops. Lots of tunes. Caffeine pills, avoid caffeinated drinks (fewer piss stops). Avoid ultra-fast driving (100+), in the Suburban, cheaper and safer. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
