I heard the ethanol content sensor is going to be n54 only at first. As for the supplemental hpfp solution results are expected in 4 weeks.

I think you need E40/E50 (mixed with 93) to get sufficient octane to run pure at max boost. Do you want to run max boost all the time? I don't think so. So in your case I would just start with E20/E30 and start upping the boost (start at 16 psi and work your way up) and log everything. Investigate the logs and if all is good up the boost further. See where you get and once you find a limit you can think about upgrading fuel system.

Thanks Peter. I'm new to all this logging and boost stuff so not sure I understand it all - I just like to go fast. I have a custom PTF remote tune (no JB4), I record logs from 2800-6500 RPM at WOT in 3rd gear on a Cobb AP and send them to PTF, then they send me a new map (i.e. they up the boost for me). To be honest, I usually don't even look at the logs before sending them, but my most recent log shows max boost of 15.8 PSI on 91 octane. Unfortunately the nearest E85 station is 30 miles from me, so at this point I'm not sure how often I'll have ethanol in the tank. My indy mechanic and PTF tuner are both recommending an LPFP upgrade with the Pure stage 1, but both Jesse at Pure and Steve at Fuel-It say the LPFP is not necessary, so frankly I'm a bit confused.

Agreed, especially on pump gas. Many of us are running E30+ on stock fuel system with the Pure upgrade.

I don't think Fuel It is going to do a HPFP upgrade, I think they are going to do a simpler version of the port injection kits that are around (Motiv, CPE).

yes this paricular one dynoed 537whp at EAS dynojet and also trapped higher than any other s55 at no fly zone bakersfield...even Terrys! 157-158mph same map and mods then and now. im way happy i had a 180-200 lb passenger for all the runs too

By any chance have you dyno yours? And wow 537whp is nothing to sleep on crazy how he didn't disappear on you. Crazy what a stage 1 can do on these cars.

yes. i am newguy123 on n54 the only dyno i have was a 370 whp run when i didnt have the BEF (back end flash) also a fat boost leak due to no CP gasket! i was slipping on the dyno DCT was..haha so now thats all fixed and no boost leak im hitting 21 psi and tapering to 19 at 6k. car is running SOOO much better. dyno will happen before i go stage 2 PURE . (GRABINSKIE on IG) the M4 used to dip the fuck out on 60 rollers like that before

Should be done in 2 weeks.

It'll be ready for slipstream roll race event in April the 4th. I'll be racing a couple SC M3 that 500hp MS6 I beat N54 135 Camara SS and couple other cars should be fun
