Does your significant other make more money than you?

Just want to see if your wife/girlfriend...etc has a higher income than you. My GF makes almost twice as much and we're planning to buy property within the next few years. Now the thing is I want to buy a condo/townhouse ($350k-400k) for obvious reasons. On the otherhand, she wants to buy a nice big house ($600k-750k). I do have a mortgage right now(with my brother) but I only pay half of it, so I know what I can afford on a home.
Right now I feel so much pressure just thinking about how my future wife will be paying the bills.

It just doesn't feel right that she is paying more than me.
Many things are coming to my mind and is driving me crazy......:mad: Am I thinking too much

anyone here in this situation?

It is better to have a wife/gf that makes more than you..............If they are still with you all these years, they are genuine............

My wife makes a bit more then me I'm talking about a difference of maybe 600bucks not much I don't really care though you can't compare an accountant with a pharmacist

I make a lot more then my GF but if she ever makes more then me I have no problem with it.

i guess it's just something that you feel uncomfortable with bc mostly men makes more money.
but i'm pretty sure she loves and doesn't mind and everything else.

My wife makes about 110k more than I do and we have no problems. If you need to know she's an OBGYN and I'm a pilot.

My wife used to make more than me (not significant but still) and she decide to quit and have me take up all the bills...

My wife makes more than me also (and she didn't even go to college)....but not for long...I just took a new job and will be making more than her again very shortly. Ball's in her court now to up her game.

She doesn't, but I certainly wouldn't mind it if she was the bread winner. When you're married it's a team anyways.

the only problem you will get guys is when you impregnate them, then you will lose BIG time when they have to go for maternity leave or decide to stay at home and look after the newborn
