But on another note, indian fobs don't use deo...they use powder and it doesn't have nearly the same effect. And if they have coconut oil in their hair they smell like that too.
I'm indian too. It usually depends on how long you've been out of India, that's what I've noticed. My parents both grew up in England, and my mom cooks daily. I have yet to smell when she cooks anything.

I was born in India and raised in America. Both my parents are natives of India. My mother does not have any facial hair. My dad is the only one out of the four members in my family that carries an accent when speaking English. It's not heavy, but you can tell its there. I get many of my customers asking me what race I am and seem surprised when I say Indian. Seems they're expecting an accent! Anyhow, no offense taken- rather odd question. To be honest, the woman you described might be less interested in her looks. She might be a more traditionalist than one might expect. If you get a chance to visit India in the near future, many parts of India are now very Westernized. People have all the amenities that Western cultures have, i.e. cell phones, designer clothes, expensive cars, etc. However in rural parts, it seems to have stayed a bit behind the times. It's humbling to see though- people living their lives with simple means.

Any other questions you have, I will try my best to help you understand my culture better.

Where I'm from, there are a lot of Hindus who act and think they're Black African Americans and they call themselves Hindus with Attitude.
