Can you post a single gear pull as well as csv file your third gear looks very nice? His log does look alot better but that log he posted is 4th gear pull. Compare his 4th gear pull to my 4th gear log. Its weird how off target he still is. Also even though he's auto and im 6mt our gear ratios arent that different he should be holding boost better.

His fmic just has more pressure drop. That boost curve looks like the boost i made with the forge fmic i tested. If you live in a hot area the pressure drop is not that bad as long as you keep iat lower. My iat with meth hardly ever go over 90. Even when its 95 outhere i start iat at 110, that drop to 70/75ish due to meth and go up to 85/90 in a 4/5/6th gear pull

And its hardly ever 95 outhere. Currently the mornings bring ambients of 55 to 65 and evenings are 70-75ish. And temps go down coming months.

If anything i want a custom fmic that allows more boost than stock and same or slightly better cooling than stock. Does that exist?

yes step cores such as the helix FMIC work very well and have about .05 pressure drop I think. and the ER fmic is also another good choice.

Below is a 4th gear run. I could probably tweak map 6 a bit more but it's pretty close!
here I took this log to compare now. I splashed some 93 oct in there because I was running close to empty but your midrange should look a little like this. and this is 3rd gear pull so im underload less time

Any hard data to back this up? My stepped wagner tube and fin core is still 0.5 boost off stock fmic. And in a 4/5/6th gear pull with meth the iat are not that much more different. I will dig up some logs with stock fmic tomorrow.

The ER fmic for F22 does look huge. If anything huge fmic i think means more drop and lower iat. I am waiting data on this fmic from bms and their 435i. They have pure turbo and will put meth and er fmic on in the very near future.

Dont get me wrong but i only believe it when i see hard numbers from logs. And yes lower iat means more dense air but if i run iats of 75 or 90 those 15f doesnt mean much. I rather have 1 psi then. For occasional street pulls or quartermile its more than sufficient!

Can someone point me to the backend flash? I am going through the N55 larger turbo thread on the "other forum" but can't seem to locate the file. My pure turbo will get installed on Tuesday.

I'm pretty sure you get the base log loaded and send to Terry so that he can provide the correct flash for your vehicle.

Thanks. Yes, based on what I read I think I load Cobb map0 and then email the DME version to Terry who emails me the backend flash.

I'll do a pull in 3rd tmrw and post. I should be about were you are. I think for the sake of a data log I'm going to shift at ~6200 instead of 6700.

At the end of the day this is an epic upgrade for <$1k

I saw you CSV file on the other forum. Your boost looks normal. Wastegate cycle is maxed so seems your at your limit. Other than that everything looks good

I would drive it for 50 miles at low boost to make sure the mechanical stuff is working fine. Incase its not atleast you wont be shoving 20 psi through it :P

If no issues after 50 miles I would start upping the boost.

I definitely would not want to do it for the first time again. Now that I've done it though it would be so much easier to do it again, just like everything else is. lol.
