Lots of guitar lovers I see! Rugs, that studio is absolutely stellar!
Here's my 60th anniversary American deluxe. I'm a headphone junkie... Occasionally get to plug into the Fender deluxe hot rod amp --- lovely sound but makes enemies of the neighbors quick! |

I've been a Fender guy for the last 35 yrs. I've really tried to like others. I've Jones for a Gibson V and a Dean ML forever (since I was 14). But every time I pick one up I just can't play that big ol fat, flat neck. I think PRS are awesome guitars. Of all the humbuckers, I would say the PRS tops my list. The only problem is that for a carved top humbucker, I really want a pull through bridge, and Gibson just don't make a thin rounded neck that I like. Every one of my guitars have a different personality and are set up for different voicing or tuning. I really play them all (except my '78; that's my first). Originally, I had two Blues Jr. I was going to make one into a cabinet, and drop a 12 Celestion Blue into it; but I ended up selling it to pay for my Tele parts. The Blues Jr is a good compromise. I really liked the sound of a Vox AC15, but for the money, I couldn't deal w/ the lower quality. I put a Celestion G speaker in it, and will probably get around to changing the tone stack in it one day. But its good for me. I like clean tone. If I were to get another amp, it would probably be a Fender Princeton ReIssue. I'm a basement hack, so I really don't want anything big. |

Man, you guys w/ your studios make me miss my music room. My old house (14 months ago) had a music room in the basement. My new house has an unfinished basement, so I have to split duty in my kids video room; my guitars are in their cases in the closet . I try to spread a few guitars on stands around the house; but would rather have my old music room back.
One day.... |

I have a soundclick account if you care to listen. Most of my music sucks, but it is fun to record and mess around: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...&content=music Just click and play any of the recordings. If your ears start bleeding, sorry. |
