DYI: Easiest way to get 1b file and generate FSC codes for CIC navi map update

Hello All,

Can somebody help me with an FSC code please ? I've tried following the steps in this thread to pull the 1B file with the USB stick....but I cannot get the 1B file....

Vehicle : BMW E87 LCI 2010, Navigation BMW Business CIC MID.
Currently I have Road Map Europe MOTION 2010 and I downloaded the Road Map Europe East MOTION 2023 wich I would like to update to.

VIN:WBAUH310X0E521267

Just so I can understand a bit better how this update works, on my sistem I can put only this type of maps? MOTION? Or I can put also Premium maps?

You have CIC-MID Head Unit, not CIC. 1B USB Script works only on CIC. You have to pull 1B file with Cable. And CIC0MID can only run MOTION Map.

Hello, some help, please. I have BMW CIC FSC generator but i can only generate keys for maps due to 2021. I have dloaded 2024 europe east map, but how can i generate key? Help me someone

I have 1b file, i installed before 2021 maps using the generator, but what now?

Am i unlucky having a CIC-MID Head Unit or?

Not sure if you got my pm, says i have to wait 7days for my account to be upgraded...

I've tried multiple usb sticks inn the glove compartment, but it wont extract the 1b file

Formated the sticks and added the copie_scr.sh file to them
