An I'm sorry goes a long way. If it's not Creative fault they should own up the the problem, explain what they are willing to do and not remain silent. I cannot believe they don't just refund the two testers thier money and apologize saying they will continue to work opn this. The fact that they won't even give you guys a break after all you have gone thru tells alot. Sometimes in business you have to eat crow, take a loss to save face and work hard to get business back. I cannot believe for the prices of two flashes the 2 companies involved would rather loose respect than make it right. Period.

895 x 2 is not a large amount for a company....they make that much selling a few mods/wheels. but i guess 2k is more valuable than reputation for some

Well...that is why I have decided that all my future modifications to this car will be purely cosmetic. I will not waste my time and money with these companies.


If I want real performance gains...I will put money aside for a new car.

Anyone who knows James knows that he is a good guy and runs an honest shop. Not to mention they have a huge reputation in the euro (not just BMW) community and now a couple of haters think they can ruin a shops credibility lol.

Creative was just as uniformed as all of us.

I would have thought they would have said so. One of those guys even mentioned a lawsuit. And as far as being a newb I've had BMW's since 1974 and am ONLY new to the E90 forum. I've been around them probably longer than you've been alive so who's the newb??

creative should not be banned, it was not their fault. they're already providing refunds to the two members and reflashing their computers back to stock.

the problem lays with the info that was provided to creative by dynocomp. creative trusted the info they received from dynocomp, which in the end mislead everybody.

the evotech usa operations also does not seem to be well run. from what was posted in this thread, it looks like they have not fully researched the software for us-spec e90's but released the software prematurely. i believe any well run company would not have let this happen.

even though it is not creative's fault, i still find it strange they have remained silent and not said anything. silence at times can be perceived as guilt. i think it's important to keep your current, future, and past customers informed in what is happening.

well, a lesson learned for everybody i guess.
