How can I add 2024 Premium Europe east map to this generator? Thank you

Edit Lookup.xml file and clone any existing Road Map Europe PREMIUM entry, and change it to be SWID_FscShort="00280072" name="Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2024-1".

All that matters is SWID and Name. If anything else mattered, I would have advised on those as well.

Hi,

Car is a E60 from 2003 with a working, retrofittet CIC-unit with this text:

ECE
BMW Group
401161.2.11
Road Map Europe West PREMIUM 2017-1

The 1b method trying to get a FSC from the unit has been tried on two different USB-keys: 32 GB USB 3.0 and 4 GB USB 2.0.

No files are generatet.

Any suggestions please?

Make sure USB is 2.0, and Fat32 Formatted, and you use Glovebox USB Port, not Armrest USB Port.

If USB Script doesn't work, then you need to use Cable and Software to pull 1B File.

Firstly, thank you for the quick answer.

FOUND the USB, in the left and not the right side.

But there is still no additional files created on the USB when inserting the USB 2.0, 4GB drive formatted as FAT32 with only the copie_scr.sh file on it (turned key, waited until NAV was operational, inserted USB-key, waited 40 seconds, removed USB-key)

In the glovebox there is a Gateway Pro BT AUX/USB-interface [https://12volt-shop.com/en/2412-dension-ext1cp2.html].

I cant find any other USB and there are no USB in the middle/arm rest compartment.

All CIC have Glovebox USB Port.

WORKS NOW --- fourth USB-thumb drive could create two files: fsc.bat and 1b.hex

Hi (again),

updated old CIC map from "Road Map Europe West PREMIUM 2017-1" to "Road Map Europe West Premium (USB) 2023-2".

Everything went well underway, but after the automatic NAV-reboot, the info page of the map is blank.
No info at all.

Before the update it looked like this:

"ECE
BMW Group
401161.2.11
Road Map Europe West PREMIUM 2017-1"

Now that page is just blank.

There is a check-mark in the lower left corner of the map (so I guess that the version of the firmware should be OK).

As I didnt have a 32GB 2.0 I had to the update on a 32GB USB 3.0 USB-key - could that be a problem?

Took around 45 minutes to the update ....

I will check again in the morning, it might have to sleep on it - it worked hard to upgrade ;-)

I found the program somewhere else but under select region there are no options to click. Any idea?

Did it download a lookup.xml file, and one that is populated with map data?
