I haven't been to Paris since I was twelve but even then I saw those little peogeots and citroens darting in and out like ants even touching and then driving off honking like mad what for I don't know. They are just as bad as in Rome where as you probably know the former F1 driver Andrea de Cesaris was killed in a motorbike accident in traffic there.

In other news, Alex Albon has been confirmed as Max's teammate for 2020.
Kvyat and Gasley will stay at Torro Rosso......erm, I mean Alpha Tauri, for 2020 as well. |

New engine for Leclerc.
Lec will receive a 10 place grid drop as he is getting new spec 4 PU owing to his failed spec 3 engine being non repairable.

Indeed it does not. I'm quite happy to see F1 is taking a net-zero carbon footprint initiative. Should help with making the sport more acceptable to more fans, countries, governments, etc.
I heard people making the argument that, when accounting for spectators at the races/events, other sports like the Tour de France or the World Cup produce a much larger carbon foot print. Never thought about that but it does makes some sense. Would be nice to see someone do a study to actually quantify these suggestions. |

Binotto hasn't actually confirmed if it's the same spec as failed engine in Austin or a further evolution, spec 4, that serves as a '20 prototype.

Indeed. I looked up that article out of curiosity and saw that snippet at the end. I can only assume the official F1 article was written a little later as confirmation from Ferrari was received.
I tend to visit the official F1 site to confirm any major news stories or announcements. The unofficial sites tend to be very good with gossip and info leading up to big decisions with information on whats supposedly going on in the background. The official F1 sites seems to be a bit more "sanitized" and politically correct regarding coverage of the teams. Anyone else feel the same way or have the same approach when verifying sources/information? |
