well that's not really a sea ray problem, that's a mercruiser deal. how often were you using the boat? did it have to do with the outdrives?

I'd say if you're looking to just go out there and shred some waves every so often then you should buy one for the speed. If you're looking to just go out in the water and relax then get the comfy one. It's just like buy a car: the real sporty ones aren't comfortable. Thus you'd have to decide what matters most. I probably wouldn't go fast on the water anyway.

i'd have to ask my dad about the specifics. it was a 280 sunsport with a closed cabin. we'd take it out at least every other weekend during warm weather. it was flushed properly after every use.

i prefer his new formula, both from a design standpoint (sea rays look frumpy and rounded in comparison), and in terms of the power and interior design. it's also been extremely reliable.

Go grab a Baja Islander or Outlaw. We had a 252 island for 6 years and a 18' one before that. Those boats were an absolute riot and they hauled some serious ass.

I was staying at the Four Seasons on Great Exuma, never been there by boat though. It's definitely more peaceful than Paradise Island.

I have some Underwater lights that were there when i bought the boat. Not sure of the brand but looks great at night. They are the regular white, not the blue and other color LED's that ive been seeing lately.

PS sorry for the threadjack
