Nice, I like this thread. I like pairing my wines with my food accordingly.

I have quite a few favorites with reds being my favorite.

I've found myself having a a glass often of Ferrari Carano Merlot.
If not that, I'll have a glass of Catena Malbec. (highly recommend)

Reds
Acacia Pinot Nior (buy whenever)
Addamo PN (Santa Barbara, 2 cases '04)
Ferrari Carano Merlot (Sonoma, buy whenever)
Duckhorn Merlot (Napa, 4 cases 97, 00, 02, 04)
Simi Cab (Alexander Valley, buy whenever)
Groth Cab (Oakville, 1/2 case left '04)
Honig Cab (Napa, 2 cases '04)
Lancaster Estate Red Wine (Alexander Valley, 2 1/2 cases left. 1/2 02, one '03, one '04)
Estancia Meritage (Paso Robles, 1 case '04)

Whites (don't drink too much white)
Bernardus CH (Monterey, buy whenever)
Jordan CH (Russian River, buy whenever)
Honig & Cakebread Sav Blanc (Napa, 1 case each 04)
Had a glass of Albarino which was great last night with Salmon and rice pilaf, but I don't remember the name of it.

Still learning a lot every year as I'm only 22!

Ravenswood is great for the price.

So is Solaris Zinfandel.

Chateau Margaux is #1 for me
Jordan is a great producer. Although they only produce cabernet and chardonnay. I met some people from that vinyard recently.

Screaming Eagle is absolutley the most overpriced and overrate wine of all time! The 2005 is $750/bottle at auction pricing. Give me a break.

Margaux is great stuff. Can I come over? I'll bring cheese.
