Lmao this is hilarious. Sounds like one of those trolling threads on Reddit.

Cats have 9 lives bro, nothing you can do to stop them.

Don't misunderstand me. I like cats. But I love my car.
What car do you love so much?

Cats are nasty and absolutely hate getting wet. If your car is wet recurringly, it's no longer a comfortable environment for them to rest. You may have to do this for a couple of nights for them to get the message.

While I don't advocate animal cruelty as an alternative, invest in an air rifle. On good shot on the arse, the cats will remember that this area is not safe to roam around. They have good environmental memory. Just don't fire once they are close to your car

Whatever you do don't feed them antifreeze like I believe someone implied, it's inhumane and they will literally bleed out from the inside and swell up like a blowfish.
Contradict yourself a bit there. Doesn't advocate animal cruelty...but advocates animal cruelty solution. Dang this thread is old I wonder what he ended up doing. I would have personally put a car cover on after parking if no garage was available.

Had the same problem on my 2002 Z3.
Turns out multiple cats in the area just loved the lines and long bonnet of that car so they would have cat fights on the bonnet for dominance and thats when the claws came out and the scratches happended.

PPP solved my problem.

Back in the day, we'd come out to our cats warming up their oblivious selves on my dad's car. Cats have a mind of their own.

Actually unhelpful and pointless statements. Park in, or move to, a garage? If he had a garage he would park in it and most densely-urban places don't have garages for most of the population. He lives in Turkey where traffic is so bad and parking is so difficult (especially in Istanbul) that they park on the sidewalks just to get partially out of traffic which is the worst I've ever seen. He's probably looking for a solution that won't cost him 4-5,000 dollars for a full wrap which is what he would need.
