I can't stand the new rule for determining the championship. I think BE really messed up this time.

So has BrawnGP locked down any sponsors at this point? I dig the white/black/yellow color scheme; but it looks like a prototype/test car.

After the 80's there has been a tad to much regulation, only to get ridiculous the past few years. The only regulation I agreed with was Safety of the drivers. Everything else it should be let the best engineers/drivers combo win. Just my IMO.
Still love the sport though and can't wait for this weekend. |

Bunch of political BS happened over the past few hours.
Ferrari, Red Bull, and Renault had lodged protests against the legality of the diffusers on the cars from Brawn, Williams, and Toyota. BMW tried to, but somehow theirs was thrown out do to a technicality. Something about not being turned in on time, or not having a proper signature. Some little thing. This protest occurred just after the cars underwent scrutineering. All 3 constructor's cars were found to be legal by the stewards of the race. After which, the 4 teams that had issue with this attempted to have the cars deemed illegal. This comes after a previous statements by the Race Director for the FIA, Charlie Whiting, that the diffuser designs were in fact legal. He inspected the cars in Barcelona in the last test. And made his decision from that. Subsequently the protest have been thrown out. The cars of Brawn, Williams, and Toyota are legal and ready to be raced. Protests Rejected Charlie Whiting Says Diffuser Designs OK Great Techical Article on This Subject
