lol I wish 'd have known would have loved to have taken Maxxie to she how effiecient she is.

Wonder what they would have said to a 19 year old MX5, with a decatted exhaust now running on some nice carbs instead of the fuel injection system she first came with! It sounds fantastic now

was the ed this weekend, well i had a phone from the salesman yesterday evening the one i emailed about 3 weeks ago about a coupe with twin tail pipes badged as 325d which had the wrong badge on as i posted on here, he must of had a quite weekend as he found out my phone number and asked if i wanted more info on 335d and asked if i wanted to come in and have it for the weekend, he has a brand new demo as he said there old one has been reved out a bit,lol like to know who gets that car lol, so anyway going on he has a black m sport 335d when ever i want it, as i have just had my new place passed for building i dont think i could spend some of my money and swap my 320d in or should i just have it for the weekend and blast it to death, as every other car i drove i have done the deal after i hand it back

Invited to BMW This Weekend

I've been invited to BMW this weekend for the Effcient Dynamics check ...... I might go taking both the E30 (see how an "old skool" BMW fairs) and the MX5.

Taking bets that mine will be throwing the most CO2 out that my local dealer sees all weekend

I cannot see the point in going to an event like this. I am not against environmental stuff - far from it but this is blatent marketing tosh of the highest order. I have owned lots of different BMWs and engine for engine a new car is marginally different mpg in the real world than one of 5 or 10 yrs ago.

I do not want to listen to some shamzie salesman bleeting on about efficient dynamics. I think I would rather eat my hand than go to this rubbish.

Marketing gone Mad.

I was only going to go along for a "laaaarf" to see their faces when asked to check an E30 325i and a 19 year old MX5 running on Carbs, not big on clever and I'd probably end up getting lectured about the environment

I've canned my appointment after my wife wasn't interested in the 160i test-drive that we'd booked. I was thinking of taking her car in for a laugh and see what they were going to say, but I thought better of it

Just leaving the office to go and collect my dads Supercharged Holden GTS from the garage (has been in for a service and dyno run)

I wonder how a superchargted 5.7 Corvette V8 will do on their efficiency check?!
