As said above, IPA's are not good... (At least there are a few of us.)
I agree with all of that, except tomatoes and mushrooms. I also feel you cheated a bit going bourbon and rye vs scotch and tequila. I mean bourbon and rye are very similar... wtf does tequila have to do with scotch? However since you threw in tequila with the scotch I have to agree, because tequila is the foulest liquor ever made. I dunno how people drink that crap, it literally tastes like vomit.

Tomatoes and mushrooms are both a texture thing. I can eat tomatoes in salsa that has been blended and mixed with the good stuff. Pico de Gallo? No way. Mushroom gravy is great, just leave out the chunks of mushroom. Vile fungus. Tequila has nothing to do with Scotch. I just don't like either of them nearly as much as bourbon and rye.

Tequila is made from Blue Agave and is a light spirit hence it is the easiest to drink out of all the ones named and the least inflammatory.

Have you ever had an expensive tequila? I.e. above $50? Even better at above $100?

Nothing below that is good IMHO... dear god I hope you weren't drinking jose cuervo and basing your opinion of that

No sir. In the right circumstance, tequila is fine. In the house I have Clase Azul and Casamigos Reposados. Jose Cuervo will never, ever cross my lips again. All I said is that bourbon and rye are better than Scotch and tequila, not that I did not enjoy them from time to time if they are the right kind. I also happen to like In n Out, and if there isn't a WAB or Tommy's close by, it's a solid option. I just like those other 2 better. Make sense?

Now, tomatoes, mushrooms, IPA's, movies, blech....

I will add one other thing - I sat in an M3 Jahre X the other day and they wanted 100K for it with a 10k markup. My controversial opinion is that this car is worth at best 80K... it feels like a gussied up 3 series which is what an M3 always was... but it was never this high priced. I think a lot of people will be upside down in these cars soon when the production catches up. I think a G80 Xdrive at 75k...i.e a base model with a 6% discount is a good deal... otherwise, the price is insane imho.
I can't speak specifically for options pricing, but MSRP has more or less mirrored inflation with each generation of M3. So if this M3 seems expensive... then so must have the generations that preceded it. But I don't think it's fair to say it was never this high priced - adjusted for inflation it's always been this high priced. As far as discounts off MSRP - those are generally driven by dealer discounts. MFG incentives don't USUALLY move the needle that much, but those are classified under promotional pricing.

The M3 Jahre edition is priced more for rarity than it is for features. It's more or less just an appearance package, but because they're only shipping 500 of them, the price is inflated - so I wouldn't use that as the example.

I don't think the pricing is the issue. I think the issue is we're all just feeling the effects of a rough market, and that to some extent has implications on ALL cars. The MSRP on my m340i was $68,970, but I got a 10% dealer discount, plus an additional $3k in MFG incentives - coincided with very low interest rates - and I got a great deal. My G80 has an MSRP of $85k, so not significantly more than my m340i given the performance difference, individual color, and full merino leather, however the lack of dealer discount and MFG incentives are driving my costs up way more than the relative MSRP increase.

I actually like Tom Cruise as an actor... but I do feel like he's a bit one-dimensional in his style. He's not as dynamic as an actor should be. It doesn't matter if it's Jerry Maguire, Top Gun, or Mission Impossible, his expressions and style are very, very similar.

Curious who your top 10 all-time NBA players are. I'm not a Lebron James fan by any stretch, but seems insane that he isn't at least in the top 10.

^^ There are other actors that seem one-dimensional like Tom Cruise that are also good actors. Denzel Washington comes to mind.

That's true... but I feel like to be the "best", you have to be multi-dimensional.

Agree. I’ve heard that Tom Cruise is looking for an Academy award for his performance in Maverick Top Gear, don’t think it’s worthy myself, although I like the movie.

i would say that's part of it... the comp since thats the only way to get an auto now is 16k more base than 2015... that's outpacing inflation a little but in the grand scheme of things its still insanely expensive for a 3

I guess for me the only texture that bothers me is anything savory that's gelatinous like pigs feet. Other than that can't really think of textures that I don't like. I like scotch and bourbon, I tend to drink scotch on the rocks while I like making cocktails with bourbon... tequila goes straight in the trash!

No idea, but I've never had tequila that didn't taste like vomit. I'm not exaggerating.... it has a very specific vomit like taste to it. You know after you throw up and you have that super acidic vomit taste left in your mouth? That's tequila. I have a friend who likes tequila and he has ordered stuff with tequila which he claimed tasted good... vomit.

Yes and yes... but save yourself the $100 extra and just get the anejo for ~$50 at clubhouse... they are virtually the same w the 1942 being almost identical in taste just a tad bit older (or so they say). Diageo does an amazing job marketing it as a luxury product bcuz celebs showed it off at one point.

I don't buy into most of the celeb tequilas, none of them really standout except Codigo and maybe Cincoro (but again better stuff available for cheap).

If you can find it, try Fortaleza Anejo... this is the pound for pound winner for $80 but it's been very hard to find recently.

Reminds me of another unpopular opinion... not sure if it's been said already, but watching sports is horrible. Rather have my eyeballs gouged out than watch some guys get paid millions of dollars to throw different balls around in various manners. Never understood the appeal, probably never will.

Many more people enjoy watching sports, than auto racing.

No idea if he's in the Top 10, but I think it's so frustrating Lebron fanboys just don't get it, thinking he's at MJ's level or even better than the GOAT lmao. MJ, closer. Brady, closer. LBJ...not a closer.
