Here's my contribution. I always come back to this one despite taking a lot more exciting pics. Something about the lighting and focus.

I've yet to have a shoot where the Le Mans Blue metallic paint looks the same.

I should go shoot a pic of my X5 sitting dead out in my driveway. I hate the way BMW batteries just die instantly. If my camera, laptop, phone, gps, and iPod can all show me remaining battery life, WTF CAN'T MY $35k BMW?

Dunno. The car has 104k miles on it. I've put 50k of those on it with the same battery. No idea if this is the original or not. Getting a new battery is no big deal. But the car worked fine right up until Saturday morning. Then it was just dead. No prior warning. I jumped it off my wife's car and it started and ran fine, so I'm guessing it's just the battery. This has happened before with other BMWs I've owned. When the battery goes, it's sudden and without warning.

you can take a multimeter and get a quick reading... that way you'll know how dead it was. Since you could jump start it, I guess it's probably not a short, but just an older, draining battery.

... one of each car.

The 3 Series Wagon is now gone... that was my wires favorite.

The 5 Series is now the wifes daily driver.

The M3 hasn't had any solid photo days yet.

I agree just wish the horizon line wasn't splitting the car in half.

I love this shot, the framing of the car gives the feeling of vastness in the surroundings. Makes me want to go on a long roadtrip by myself.

I for one like the horizon where it is, because once I look at the car, my eyes are immediately drawn to the background scenery.
