Kid was wrong but its not fair he got killed. Fair would be he gets egged for about an hour non stop and when he gets his first nice car it gets egged for an hour as well. I send the best to his family and the sad part is it was completly avoidable.

certainly extreme

certainly would have at least kicked his ass.....possibly ran over the hand that threw the eggs.

but shooting him in the head when he ran away is not an option.

My ride got egged as well during halloween. If I had caught the asshole that did it, you can expect him to be paralyzed, blind and muted.

Too soon?
Driver was probably some homie ("gold colored Mercedes") Look where it happened. Northwest Atlanta can be pretty nasty. Bankhead, Hollywood Courts, Bowen Homes.

Are you guys serious? Some kid died for egging a car. That is NOT anywhere near justifiable for murder.

Speaking of eggs and guns, my dad recently bought a shot gun because some pranksters egged the house..

When our parents taught us not to talk to strangers, they meant "Don't f*ck with people you don't know, they may be dangerous." The teen engaged in a dangerous activity - f*cking with strangers - and died as a result. If the driver's windows were down and he was egged, the kid was engaging in assault and driver should have a reasonable case for self-defense.

Kid was a punk. Doesn't mean he deserves to die.

Punished yes. But not killed.

Killing the teenager might have been a little over... But at the same time, I'm not surprised. People get killed for less shit all the time in the world.

Eh, let this be a lesson to other kids. Try the same shit in Russia and you'd have a bullet through your head in a split second. Play with fire and you will get burned.

If the kid shot heroin or smoked crack and died, or tried jumping Snake Canyon on a motorcycle and died, would you consider him punished? He engaged in illegal, dangerous behavior just like thousands of other people, and death was the result, as it often is.

He egged a car ffs....big freakin' deal.

There is no way that the kid deserved to die for it and your constant defense clearly reveals the kind of person you are.

OMG, I'm glad I don't live in the states and have to deal with people like you.

So, according to you killing someone (= a human being) is an appropriate punishment for egging a car (= a material object)?? I'm speechless.

And if a kid threw an egg at you gives you the right to kill?? You can't be serious.

I suppose you never did anything stupid when you were a kid yourself...

If both of us had been there minutes before it happened, me saying "Hey, you shouldn't do that, you'll piss someone off" or even a simple "Hey, damaging someone else's property is wrong" and you saying "Ah, it's just a car, ffs - go ahead," which kind of person would have kept him alive? Will your attitude bring the kid back somehow?

I agree that the kid did not deserve to die, but to be honest I don't feel sad for the kid. Why the fuck you want to mess with people's cars???

I don't understand how so many replies are being contorted into "death was justified". That's not what the poster you quoted said. Not at all. Maybe English is your second language, and that's the reason for misunderstanding in this case? However, there are many other posters here, and in the OT thread, who are getting their panties in a bunch when someone mentions that the kid was an idiot for engaging in the activity.

Take a look at the neighborhood he was in. It reminds me of the bad parts of Detroit (and that's saying a lot, because even the good parts of Detroit are ghetto as hell). So, you're going to intentionally piss someone off in that area? Good God, what a dumb idea.... There, I said it too.

No, he did not deserve to die, and the poster you quoted also said nothing even alluding to the sentiment that death was justified, but it's not like the kid was just walking down the street and got shot randomly by some banger....

"Don't start no shit, won't be no shit." The kid would still be alive today if he hadn't partaken in that criminal activity. Hopefully the shooter rots in prison for the rest of his life.
