I have a dark charcoal tint on my Monaco Blue... It looks great

My car does have a little more contrast with the chrome trim (which I like), but the tint looks great nonetheless!!!

Thanks for the compliments.

I don't remember the % offhand, but I will double-check the receipt tonight -- it's the darkest the law would allow here. I'll post a couple other pics as well.

This thread upsets me!

I am thinking about purchasing an E90. Still debating between the sedan and the touring. I have a set of 18x8.5 RGRs on my 1997 M3, and was planning to keep them and put them on the E90. I gotta say, looking at your car (no offense!!!) that the 18"s look a bit small after seeing all of the pictures of cars with 19's and 20's on them!

I am not a big wheel fan, and really do not live in an area where the big wheels will work well. I wonder if it would look better with a bit of a drop?

Anyone have any opinions on this? Sorry noflash, I don't mean to wiz in your Cheerios here, but I was looking for a visual on the RGRs and am not sure if the 18s are big enough!

Steve

Then stop looking at 19's and 20's because the 18's are fantastic!

I hear your pain!

I once had that problem. The wheel gap was much more noticeable when the wheels were on my sp e46. The e90 is already a bit lower.

Still, staring at "slammed with dubs" online all day can WARP YOUR BRAIN!!

Sure they are beautiful. But let's be honest, do you live in a car show?

Here's what convinced me. When I had my e46 I always wanted coilovers to drop my car an inch. My wife was okay with it, but you should see her face when I told her I wanted to spend $1700 on that inch. She had the general perspective and I had the modding-disease perspective.

Luckily, the e90 only needs a half an inch drop and that's easy to get over.

NOW with the e90 some think the rear wheels need 10-20mm spacers. I almost had buy-in, but then it hit me. I've gone from worrying about an inch to 10 millimeters!!! I put all that stuff behind me to worry about more important things.

The greatest reward now is had walking to my car in a parking lot among the general herd of Camrys and Accords. It's stunning just the way it is.

Thanks for the perspective, and in reality, you are correct!

Course, slammed and rolling on dubs still warps your brain. However it probably also damages your kidneys!
