It was something like -4F here last night (-20C), with like a -21F windchill. It's cold, but like Canucklion said, it's to be expected in northerly climates. You just suck it up and get used to it. Wouldn't really give it up though, as I love having four actual seasons (though in Chicago it's really only two since it tends to go from winter to summer in about a week)

With wind and snow blowing in your face, it's cold, trust me.

It's cold for you, but it's not like the cold you'll get in the Prairies or elsewhere in Northern Canada. I discovered that people who don't eat fish at all, or rarely eat it, always complain about the cold weather. I always eat fish and they say that omega-3 fatty acids found in fish prevents fish from freezing. Maybe, that's why I never find it cold outside.

I've lived/studied in Saskatoon for 4 years, each winter it gets down to about -40C, and as I've said before, it sometimes dipped to -60C. So trust me, you ain't experienced cold yet.

Exactly. Now back in Toronto, I understand why Western Canadians look down on the Easterners for bitching and whining so much; because it's true.
