hey guys, sorry i haven't gotten back to all of you, been busy organizing a track event (buttonwillow on 2/1 if anyone's interested).

Update: I was able to fit the Pole Position into my new car so I'm really looking to sell just the mounting hardware, price is $420 picked up, and the harness which I'm asking $180 for (with handles and shoulder pads).

Don't quote me, but I don't believe so. First, there isn't a seat occupancy sensor on the driver's side like there is on the passenger's side, because obviously someone will always be driving whereas the passenger side sensor is used for the seat belt warning and airbag(s) on that side.

Second, I had the driver's seat coded in which is why I'm not sure if a sensor is necessary or not, I would probably recommend the same if you know a coder.

does the harness receptacle add height to the seat? I am not very familiar with harness mounting, do you know if they will work with vac floor mounts?

That's a sick setup, OP. I've never seen a 3-point harness on an e90/92 without a rollcage

Yes the harness receptacles will add a slight amount of height to the seat equal to their thickness which I would say is about half an inch. They sit between the side seat mounts and the floor mounts, the same as the slider if you choose to use one.

I actually don't know whether they are compatible with VAC floor mounts, I would imagine so since there are multiple munting holes, however I know VAC also sells it's own seat belt adapter kit so I'm not sure.

Thanks Arktis. That's precicely what Schroth had in mind when they designed it- a 4-point harness for e92 owners that haven't installed a roll cage, but one that still passes safety standards. Of course it includes their ASM technology as well since there isn't a sub-strap (as with all 4-points).
