And if you read the link he posted he sounds even dumber. The bottom line is that, because we want to limit our taxes, the cops in cities like LA have to prioritize what they respond to and stolen cars is not on the top of the list no matter how much the owner loved the car.

Exactly. I'm not the biggest proponent of high taxes but people want to keep every cent they make yet want every social service to wipe their asses. Choose one or the other.
