Do the residents not realize it is their wealth that helps the city's Economy and London? If the politicians would to do anything their economy would take a hit. That is one reason I believe the cops are not obliged to do anything and if a resident would to do that, they would get hit...hard! Sucks to be a resident there but seems the only way out is to suck it up.

Its the same situation here in Canada, except gas prices are even higher. I wish it was a "petrocracy" like Venezuela, where gas can by bought for 0.13 cents per gallon!

Also, I strongly doubt that in their shareholder meeting (or whatever) the points raised on why they should charge more is "being a tool in London".
