Not a fan of the Yankees, but I was hoping for Ichiro to get into his first World Series... Oh well.
![]() Congrats, Tigers... Hope you guys beat whoever comes out of the NL.

We haven't won anything yet. Nobody cares about winning the LCS. We have to finish what we couldn't finish in 2006.
But, it's fun to see some of the fun facts about the DET-NYY matchup lately: First team to bounce the Yankees in the playoffs two straight years since 1922. First team to sweep the Yankees since 1980 and the first to do it in a seven game series since 1976. The two Yankee hits in Gm4 tied the lowest mark in franchise postseason history. We're the first team ever to bounce the Yankees in three straight playoff meetings. etc.... I hope we saved some for the (most likely) Cardinals. It would be extra disappointing to drop another WS to them. |

Is there anyway the Yankees can get rid of A-Rod's contract?. I mean, the guy got that big juicy contract while he was shooting 'roids. After he allegedly quit 'roids, he's been a pretty average hitter. In any case, not worth 30 million a year, IMO. Use that money to get 2 or 3 real hitters and get it over with....

Agreed. O's were let down by their bullpen. Shame. I really wanted to see the O's in the WS.

Goooooo Tigers! Oh wait...
I hear Detroit are the new Texas Rangers. Choke artists. On a side note. Upcoming season is going to be good. Halos are loaded and the Blue Jays are going to battle in the AL East all season long. Whoever lands Giancarlos Stanton in a trade from the Marlins will cash in. He's a 40-HR/110-RBI guy |
