That's a bug cemetery

Yea I hate love bugs too (Floridian yay!), but if that's seriously your car then you haven't washed it frequently enough. You don't amass that amount of bugs in a little time w/o a wash.

Spray the front of your car with Pam Cooking Spray. Then hose the front of your car off at night. Sounds ridiculous, I know. It won't damage your car, and they just sheet off the front when you hose the nasty bugs off.

LOL thats not my car, mine wasnt near that bad although i did wait about a week and a half before getting them off i just posted that pic for people who didnt know what they were and what they do. They said on the news last night if you leave them on over about 3 days the acid they have in them will eat though the clear coat and leave your paint permentaly pitted

Not really sure, I don't keep track I'd guess about ~3 months or so, but it's just really bad during the summer. I've actually seen 3 diff. cars that had that many bugs on it (like your pic) - it's nasty.

Being from the NE when I drove down to FL I couldn't believe how much crap was stuck to my car. I had to make routine stops along the way to clear the bugs. There was even a giant grasshopper stuck to one of the spokes of my wheels. Was a bitch to get off.

Bird shit is the same way. My girl had some on her car, didn't wipe it off for a week and yesterday I couldn't get the marks out, it ate through the clear. Now I'm gonna have to get out the PC and buff them out.

Good Lord, that's horrific. I understand your pain! I live in GA, we don't have the love bugs like y'all do, but we have everything else. That's why in the "How often do you wash your car thread", I basically said eveytime I drive it because the bugs are so bad. They WILL stain your car too, keeping a good coat of wax helps a lot.
I am def. checking into that clear bra also.
