Yeah, I don't think I would switch to T-moble. So far I've read that verizon will get the HTC Bravo/Passion/Incredible/Dragon which is supposed to be the similar, if not the same as the Nexus One. At this point I don't know what to believe. At least a similar phone with verizon would hopefully be subsidized around $180 also.

I'm renewing/switching this month. 500 daytime works for me if it includes unlmtd night/wkend. I want to see a full review of this thing prior to purchasing it though...

I thought Google was going to sell an unlocked phone not associated with any carrier

T-Mobile is just subsidizing the phone on the backend if you decide to use the Nexus One with them. I believe they currently do that with all unlocked phones.

They cant really "not associate" themselves with a carrier because each carrier use a different frequency. ATT and TMobile are use the same GSM network, but Verizon uses CDMA. All three use different frequencies for the internet 3G services...So unless they decide to cover all 3 carrier frequencies, there's no way to make this phone unlocked and not associated with a carrier.
