Do you still think about your first car?

My '98 MB w202 introduced me to driving. I think it was very smooth, comfy, just fast enough for a new driver and still a classic design!

My 135i is only my 3rd car. I dont think about my first car much at all (2000 Dodge Stratus), but I do think about my 2nd car a lot, a 2006 Subaru Impreza. That car was fun, but my 135i is by far the best one I've owned so far. My thoughts about my old Subie usually pop up around winter time, lol.

I rarely think of my 1978 Pontiac Gran Prix SJ at all. Except when I watch restoration shows.

My 06 Civic was the very definition of mediocre. Wheezing, torqueless engine, rough over bumps, maybe-later brakes, and bland materials. It was an absolute blast to thrash about though, and it got great gas mileage and proved to be really reliable. I had a hell of a time with that thing.

i sometimes think about my 96 rodeo. it got 9 mpg, idled at 1200 rpm (when the light turned green, i would let off the brake, not touch the gas, and it would rev all the way up to second), sqeaked all over the place, had faded paint, and only had the front speakers working. to make it even worse, i went to a high school with loaded kids and usually had to park next to a brand new 996 C4S. still wish i could drive it for a day, though. good memories

i haven't really thought about it until i saw this thread.
Unless you are fat, you can easily have sex in a E92 lol. I did it in a the front seat of a Mini Cooper lollll

My first car (and only so far). My GTI. I haven't driven it in like 4 months and I won't until another 2. I miss her so much

My E92 M3 is only my third car, but I still never think about my first car. It was a 1997 Ford Probe GT that I bought new for about $17K, give or take. It had a Mazda-built 2.5L V6 that had a pretty nice exhaust note, but that was about it. It was a fine car for a college grad, but nothing to write home about in the grand scheme of things.

Now my second car, on the other hand, I think about to this day. 2001 Honda S2000 that I modded to look completely like a 2004-2005 from the outside (including new top w/ glass rear window), but kept that sweet 9,000RPM engine. Personalized it with a set of Honda Factory Performance coilovers that I imported from Japan, a Mugen exhaust, and a pair of red Honda badges... what a great car. I sold her to a friend after 8 wonderful and trouble-free years of ownership, so I still get to see her about once a month.

Nope. Started off in an '86 Ford Crown Vic big as a house. Was nice and all but since I discovered VW I was bitten by the Euro bug and haven't looked back since.

VW many times over, Audi next then eventually my wife and I both graduated to BMW.
Next degree, God Willing, a Porsche.

I drove my first car, a 2004 Nissan Sentra, for a grand total of 6 months. Basically just enough time to get used to driving before I learned stick. I then moved on to an E36 328i, which I drove for over 3 years, and in many ways it was more of a first car than the Sentra. I only sold it in December, so I still miss it a good bit. It's nothing like my current car, though. :P

85 Honda CRX-si. Had some Jackson Racing upgrades. Was a sweet little car, but she rusted out. Only my current baby has been more fun.

Dad handed me down a 90 corolla with 280 000 km. The only thing I think about is how long did the car drove after I sold it....Then was my 93 modded civic which probably ended being parted down and the body scrapped.

I still own my first car - a 1961 Chrysler 300G convertible which I bought from my father when he bought his '64 300K and have kept. It will go to my oldest son on my death.
