Reputable BMW shops near Portland Oregon

I need my cam ledges done and I'm on the fence when it comes to confidence for this job. Anyway, anyone have any recommendations? At this point just looking for some quotes if I were to buy the parts myself.

Also, being that I'm 19 and can barely afford the ledges themselves, does anyone know a shop that would be willing to let me remove and install the valve cover for them? I figure this alone would be a good little chuck of money I could save if possible. Anything helps, thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure most mechanics charge more once you've started "fixing" it yourself. It just gives them the extra headache of not knowing what you may have messed up. Given what you've mentioned you can afford, I think you've got to do this one yourself. And I'm here to say you can do it! Just make sure you get the cam lock tool and take your time. I imagine you've seen these videos by now:

I know you did. It's just going to cost a small fortune to have a shop do it and it sounds like you don't have the funds. I just wanted to tell you I BELIEVE IN YOU
