Umm...are you crazy?? Dude I'm indian as well and if I'm anywhere remotely NEAR the kitchen when she's cooking Biryani my shirt smells like masala. Yeah, for most foods the smell doesn't linger but biryani is killer. We used to close all the doors in the house and open the screen when she cooked.
But on another note, indian fobs don't use deo...they use powder and it doesn't have nearly the same effect. And if they have coconut oil in their hair they smell like that too.
