growing up in the North East, Surfing was not something I ever got into. Now im to old and fat to take it up... but it sure does look like fun.
I have recently acquired a new perspective of the sport after stumbling upon this awesome flickr account. Im starting to appreciate a skilled photographer alot more also.

I wonder if its a reference to Joseph Campbell's "hero with a thousand faces" which inspired George Lucas. I would love to meet this Dr Johnny Ranger photographer and shake their hand.
