Yeah, probably a wise move. After all VW already have other cars in it's line up to compete with GTR, namely the R8v10 and 997.2tt. On this occasion VW have the M3 firmly in it's cross-hairs.
In any case why is people concerned about their beloved M3, it's following will mostly stay loyal because it's rwd and will drive and behave differently to that of the RS5. I just think it's great to have another car of the market place of the caliber of the M3.
