I'm talking professionals here) make just as much or more money as the average college grad. I know it's anecdotal, but this has been pretty consistent for as long as I've been paying attention. A 6-figure salary doesn't represent the population as a whole. I'm talking in the $50-90k range, and even that is significantly higher than the national income average.
