Maybe also download AVG free anti-virus (pretty good anti-virus that'll protect you from most threats) and/or Spybot Search & Destroy (helps get rid of spyware/adware) and/or Malwarebytes (gives you a visual of what chunks of your hard drive is being used, and gives you the option to delete them if it looks safe to do so). These are all free to download via a quick Google search and can definitely sweep your comp clean for the time being. Good luck!
