Do you work for an independent or a dealer/manufacturer?
I agree with what one poster said; the number of younger people entering this field is alarmingly low. I think if you wait a few years, work for a manufacturer and keep up with the training, you're going to be an incredibly valuable asset to someone.
I did it for a couple of years out of college, but I was working on BMW so for me it didn't seem like work a lot of the time. I think the key to working on cars for a living is working on cars that you are naturally enthusiastic about.
