since when do you have to turn the traction control off to let the car perform as advertised?

the VDC has a RACE setting. if you are RACING, use RACE.

and be realistic. with any car, if the transmission fails, and the techs see that it's because of abuse, they will not honor the warranty.

Nissan has given owners a choice. take advantage of the launch control feature, but relinquish the transmission warranty - or just use the car the way it was designed to be used, and the warranty stays.

I don't see anything wrong with that.
