As you stated microsoft did sell a million on their zune product... marketing.. But apple unlike microsoft, when they came out with ipod they made money and CONTINUED the constant sale of their ipods and other product...

You do know it took a few years for the ipod to make money. So to say Apple made money and kept making money is false. And It seems like you are implying the Zune has hit it's high. I doubt that. I may not like it but that is what competition is for.
Also ipods offer nothing astonishing. Apple has just been able to milk it. This is coming from someone who owns 2. But I will be the firs to admit Apple just got lucky. Funny how before the ipod everyone considered Apple to be dead.
